
Aleta Mascorro is a senior undergraduate student and TRIO McNair Scholar at California State University, Stanislaus. In addition to collaborating with theatremakers at her local institution, she is interested in promoting dialogue centering on diversity, intersectionality, and critical pedagogy that are necessary in carving out inclusive spaces within the performing arts. She has had the privilege of attending the Encuentro de las Americas Latinx Theatre Festival this past November and the 2018 LTC Carnaval of New Latinx Work most recently. Upon graduation in May 2019, she aims to attend graduate school for producing in television and film or arts management.
